Hi, sorry to bother you all, but I've been trying to install the Sims onto my daughters laptop but keep getting the error message "Uninstaller Setup Failed To Initialize", so the bar never gets beyond 1%. It sends an error report to Mircosoft, but no solution from there!

It is the Sims but I don't know which vewrsion as she's lost the case. It just says it was published in 2000 and has a code... SKU MXE08902626D.

Anyone any ideas, this is driving me nuts!!!

It installed onto my PC easy, but then we got he a laptop as she was never off my computer

Just spent the past 3 hours with a guy from Electronic Arts on Direct Chat trying to resolves this issue, still no further forward.
