I want my sims to be rockstars. But I don't have "university", and don't have the money to buy it. Is there any place I can download like a drumset or guitar for free without having to have "university"? A silly question, I know, but I've found cars that require only the base game.

I don't think so... All (I think) of the instruments out there are re-colors from the instruments in University.
There are new musical instruments, like different kinds of pianos or new guitars.
But they won't workt without Uni since they are cloned from the Uni objects and require a certain coding to be playable.
There are also some decorative musical instruments out there that don't require Uni.

yeah, most are recolors and such, which require uni. Try googling it; you'll never know
