The Peterson Story - phoebe91 - 04-01-2009 07:48 AM

Okay, so I really wanted to start a premade family story, maybe a legacy so it was between two families in the neighborhood with freetime or one in Belladonna Cove, but I decided to just start playing all three and see which one I like best, but I just had to play the Peterson girl and I fell in love xD So, I'm going to post the updates like Suggie does because I love her style and want to try it lol.

I'm currently playing the game, so my goal is to get ahead and then post updates periodically. Besides, something really bad just happened in my game and I want to play it through so yeah xDDD.

So, this is more like a coming soon announcement to get everyone excitied, but it will hopefully arrive within the next few weeks!

Oh, and I am going to still play Eyra and the Willams, its just that I'm bored with playing the two and want to do something different.

Can't wait. Big Grin

Re: The Peterson Story - Majick - 04-01-2009 06:42 PM

I was thinking of doing the same thing with a premade family, since i'm taking a break from the Summerstones for a bit Smile  I have been playing the Burb family and then started playing the Pleasant family. I am thinking of follwoing Lucy Burb's life for a bit, at least until she dies, hehe.

Premade families can sometimes be fun, too.  I am enjoying the Burbs very much for some reason.

Re: The Peterson Story - phoebe91 - 04-01-2009 10:13 PM

Oh yeah, I love the Burbs too ^_^ I managed to get her married until I had to reinstall my game once.

Yeah, I decided to do the Peterson family though since no one seems to be doing a family from other than the base game premades so yeah Tongue

Re: The Peterson Story - Majick - 04-01-2009 11:26 PM

I just don't see any other families I'd like, or I'd do someone else, as well. lol

Re: The Peterson Story - phoebe91 - 09-01-2009 03:19 AM

I know, I'm the exact same way!

Okay, so this family, I am using a little bit of boolproping, but that's because what I want the story to achieve is more realistic compared to what the Sims 2 is programmed to be lol. Mainly the lifetime won't drop very quickly to the minues and the daily will drop oh so quickly o_o

But this weekend I should have time to start cranking out that story from what I've played so far! That is, depending on if I get that job or not.

EDIT: As of right now, I have 156 pictures xD That's enough for quite a few updates lol! And then I got rid of 4 pictures I think (They were all retakes...) and the pictures went into 13 parts. That's enough for almost 2 weeks with 1 update a day lol!

Holt ... cow ... o_o

Way to go!

Re: The Peterson Story - phoebe91 - 11-01-2009 03:02 AM

Yeah lol

So anyways, my current updates range from about 5-6 pictures up to 22 I think. But, I meant to post the first update last night, but I was kinda anxious from waiting for a call from Petsmart (That never came -____-) so I never did get back on the computer. But here's the very first post of The Peterson Story!

I walked into my apartment. I’ve been here before; I had to move in earlier before I went to my job at the burger joint, but just walking into this small /trailer/ brought back some realization. My former husband kicked me out of his /very/ expensive apartment after I refused to have a kid with him and cheated on him. But what was I supposed to do? I love /money/ not /kids/. I couldn’t be tied down because of that.

Ah, but my easel let me let go of my worries. When I was younger, it always helped me through the tough times of my parent’s divorce. I knew that if I could paint, I could just let everything leave my mind and focus on what I was painting.

Within a few hours, my crappy job called me, “Jessica, you need to come in. Someone called in sick and you are the only one who can fill in their spot.” I quickly agreed because I could use the extra money. The rent of this craptastic trailer was something ridiculous, like seven hundred bucks or something. I only made one hundred in a regular day.

When I got home, I decided to grill some hot dogs for dinner. I had no cooking skill, we always at a butler at my former husband’s apartment, so I suppose hot dogs weren’t too much to handle. It’s better than Mac and Cheese.

But sitting there all alone made me, well, lonely! It just wasn’t the same without eating with someone.

Later that night I finished my painting. It wasn’t good at all, but it was all I could do. I haven’t picked up a paint brush in years.  But I hung it on the wall anyways. It would remind me to paint something better next time.

The next day Carlos called me. We’ve had our eyes on each other for a while now, but neither of us has made a move. But we couldn’t think of anything to say so he talked about some new Boxing novel. I never cared for anything, so I just made it sound like I was interested.

There was just nothing to do in this little place so I decided to watch some weird movie on an old TV that I acquired during my move. It had some weird mascot in it that I haven’t seen since my college days. Oh, those were the days…

TV could only offer so much excitement so I just finished my next painting. Again, nothing really good but I also hung this one too. Besides, if I even tried to sell either one, no one would buy it.

I love this!  You are a really good storyteller too!

I feel really sorry for Jessica.  She seems like a really nice person and it seems like her ex was really controlling and like forced her to cheat.

I can't wait for the next update though. {clap}
