Did it come from the Entrance or was it Bred?  I'd like one that was grabbed from the Entrance, preferably.

i saw both a silver and a gold pass by on the abandoned cave but both times i blinked and then they were gone...

Yeah, it is REALLY hard to grab those.


Half the time you see those, they are probably only there because they're being traded.  Remember, when you do a Trade you're abandoning them, just the other person has a link directly to the egg for When it becomes abandoned.
