Cool can you only breed your own eggs?

Why do people kill the eggs?  That's such a waste ;_;

Just wait the 5 hours and abandon them.  That way they at least go to a new home.  I abandoned the White one earlier that I accidentally grabbed last night lol.
I didn't feel like waiting. XD

Yeah, kinda sucks, it would be fun to breed with random people's eggs XD

Yes.  You can only breed dragons that are on your scroll.  There is no way to breed them to anyone elses.

You can also get between 0-4 Eggs.  Sometimes the Dragons "won't go near each other", and that counts as an attempt for BOTH dragons involved.  Which means they aren't compatible together.

Keep in mind, if you have 4 hatchlings and 5 Eggs (say you bred the week previously) or even only 5 Eggs and no hatchlings, any egg(s) produced will be auto-abandoned.  So make sure you have the room for the egg(s) before attempting to breed, because you never know what you might get/lose.

How do you know if they are compatible? Is it just random?

I believe so, yeah.

If you attempt to breed and get an egg, or even if you lose the egg, they are compatible. And you can attempt to breed them together in the future.
