Open a program such as Paint
Open TheSims2
Play!
Take a Picture by hitting Print Screen (Prt Scr) - loaced over the insert/home/page up buttons
Minumise your game

Crop the image by selecting an area of a suitable size (by using the dotted square tool in the upper right toolbox corner)

Then just upload them onto Photobucket or some other image sharing site, and voila. The rest from there is pretty simple :3 I know it sounds confusing, but it's not so bad. Just takes some getting used to :3

It looks like a lot, but it's not so bad :3 Especially since my pictures come out bigger/clearer than they would if I just used the C key to snap the image.
The quality of the image is more likely because of the graphics setting of your game, my computer can handle it, so I have a lot of my stuff put on High, and the rest on Medium in the graphics settings.

Yeah. Ollie, got to the ... part of your game, then click the two computers. Set everything on high.

If this thread hasn't completely gone to discussing computer specs, i'll try to remember my favorite, but for quite a few months now, ignored legacy. It started out as a normal family, a mother, a father, and a daughter, and that's when the idea popped into my head that started the whole thing.
The mother took up tinkering, creating robots for the family and even more to sell, while i made the father (you may have noticed i can't remember the parent's names) and Sparrow (the daughter) work on their aspirations. I thank heavens for the feeding robot and the security bot since i was at a point taking care of their aspirations that i could not be assed to do most things myself.
Finally, well into Sparrow's teenaged years and her parent's elderly years, the mother finally managed to create a Servo for the family, who was named just that, Servo. They parents spent the rest of their days either fulfilling aspirations (father) or building Servo's to sell (mother), while with Servo taking care of the house, i worked on Sparrow finding love. When she finally got into the adult stage, she found it, and that's where my real idea begun.
She lived on through generations because i, having prepared for this, used the aspirations points to get as many Elixer's of Life as i could possibly afford. She and Servo stayed in that house through countless husbands and children, each one dying eventually of old age, besides Sparrow. In fact she still lives to this day, now ignored seeing as how my idea has come to life, and i no longer feel the urge to enjoy her immortality.

I have always ended my legacies tenth genteration! {unsure}

Standard rules is to go until you reach generation 10, yes. But, there is no rule that says you can't keep playing them past that. Which is what we all try to do

Yeah, I had a family that I was doing that with too. Alphabetically until 26, then whatever way I wanted after that x3 Got to generation 14 if I recall before something happened and I stopped.
