Apparently Black Alt Eggs are a darker Black than normal Black Eggs.

'cause i had no idea that it was a black alt egg. i thought it would just be the same dragon. i already had two of that kind but of course both of them were girls... i get way too many girls...

But, the way the eggs are colored, there is a darker shade of the black. It's just hard to tell unless you have more than one black to compare.
