I imagine Scor in the trio because he, Al, and Rose are all in the same year, and Im pretty sure Al and Scor are Slytherin and Rose is Gryffindor or Ravenclaw

Because Al was freaking out about possibly being in Slytherin, so I feel Rowling was setting up for the possibility of a new book (Harry Potter continuation) and then Ron told Rose to beat Scorpius at everything and to basically stay away from him so Rowling set up a possible thing between Rose and Scorpius {woot}
