Because I have so many hatchlings I can't trade some of my new ones to their proper scrolls.  I've got them stored on a temp scroll, but I don't want them to grow up on that scroll ;_;

I know.  It sucks.  :\  Although, frozen hatchlings don't count toward your Hatchling Count so you could always freeze one and that makes room too, lol.  But yeah, irreversible.

The green one will likely hatch tomorrow, and the white one maybe the next day :3  They almost never hatch the same day they get their holes.
