Lol that was my plan too! To have two parents with one set of twins, a boy and a girl. Except there's little chance I'll be getting twins, because if it's the same amount of chance to have twins as it is in TS2, then I'm pretty much doomed. I've been playing for nearly four years and only had 3 sets of natural twins without any kind of cheats at all. So I'll probably just have a boy or girl, and then get them to have another child of the opposite s3x.
I know for my family I'm making myself, so my female Sim would have longish blonde hair that's quite curly, blue eyes, she'd be slim and her race would be English. I'm going to completely make up my husband and he's going to be exactly what I'd like to have as a future-husband, which of course would never happen. I haven't really thought about traits for everyone else in my family yet, just been planning myself. I'm not going to do too much until I know all of the traits and a little more about CAS.

Well, from what we have now, I'd say:
Athletic (For obvious reasons)
Familey-Orientated (So he'd be a good dad)
Fortunate (I'm unlucky so we'd need some good luck in the family!)
Good sense of humour (You need a laugh)
Genius (Purely so he'd find it easier to be promoted and bring in the cash)
Well that's what I'd say now, but I also thought I had my traits all sorted buy they're constantly changing because I can't pick just five! So who knows really lol.

In every sims part the first family i had was me and my real family so i don't want to break the usual thing... (I'm sorry i am from the Netherlands so my English isn't very good :-[)

Lol I do the same, I always make me and my family first. I think most people do to be honest. ;D

I'm gonna make my family first.
Ive never been able to do this cause we all have different ages!
(me, preteen/teen, my youngest bro, Young adult, My twin bro's, Adult, my sister, adult, a couple of years older than my twin bro's. and my parents are elders.)
SO finally with gradual aging, and being able to make families that are not COMPLETELY basic, i should be able to make all of us in CAS!

I don't think I've ever made my family first.
One time I made my family in the sims, and we actually looked like each other...although I started out as a toddler. I've had a wee bit of trauma in my life and I jokingly said to myself "Let's try and get it right this time."
Well first, my simself didn't learn to talk as a toddler and then as a child (and all of my toddlers in the history of TS2 learned everything), during the family snowball fight, my simself got too cold and the social worker took him away. I have never ever had a social worker come without myself doing it on purpose.
What a disaster.
