I would like to have any option having to customize your townie sims before playing the neighborhood or you could just use theirs. Either way It would be more fun.

That's a smart question! I would have never thought about all of that extra stuff but I hope they do have homes and stuff for the townies and they will no longer dissappaer anymore!

I wish that could happen too but it's not because I read that the designers liked how us players talked about all the different silly things Goppy did so they want us to have townies in common so that we can keep doing that
but also they will have houses necause they already said you can goto any of your friends houses and spy on them
so they will have specific houses around town

No need to worry. The townies I'm sure will have houses because I read in one of the articles that there will be 90 houses and they will all be occupied with families.
It would be cool to have the seamless neighborhoods and have townie neighbors to spy on and make friends with.
Because the nhood is seamless, if a townie dies, I'm sure the game will autononamously move in another townie or family leaving no vacant lots.
