Me either, he's pretty useless if you know what cheats are. But I have tried all the wishes several times.

I know you weren't asking me, but if you want to know how to resurrect a sim without the genie, plead with the Grim Reaper, sometimes you get your sim back... Smile

The success rate depends on the relationship between the two sims. I have never had it fail if the two sims were in love. Smile
