i wouldn't mind my online friends visiting my neighbourhood, but i wouldn't want them involved with the game itself

yeah, thats always a good option to have. A lovely "kick" button.
and I would love for my friends to be involved with my game, because I dont know what they're gonna do, so it'd be unpredictable.

sadly, with all of the previous sims online games, you can't actually comunicate with other player, but only use sim options like "chat", letting your sims talk, but never actually speaking. If an in game voice was added, I would deffinately play online
