I like the idea,
I hope friendship doesn't decline quite so easily in Sims 3. I sometimes don't see my friends for months, we are still friends when we meet up again.

I think it would be neat to be able to lock a relationship, to secure that your sim can do interactions with their friends, but won't get the "had an affair" memory or whatever it is.
Me and my friends are affectionate toward each other, but I don't see why as a Sim it should be considered "cheating".

this is a good idea but thats not gonna happen because you can now choose the "tone" of the sim your talking to such as friendly or flirty(these arent the names just examples)
