You seem to forget most of TS3's new features, Majick. You said "off lot" when there's a seamless neighbourhood!
And I really like that idea! I would love to be able to decorate the nursery, and be able to admire it for a couple of days, just like in real life.

Well, by off lot I mean Off Screen, since we still don't know what we will and won't be able to follow our sims when they go off to do things. I mean, seriously, it'd be boring to go watch our Sims get a car alarm installed, or walk into a Doctor's Office, get the check-up, etc.
At least, I think it'd be boring lol

Well, they would go into a rabbit hole. They would disappear inside a building, and you could do what you wanted to.
