Pain. Burning pain all along my back. I looked at it earlier in our mirror, just after the crimson mists drifted across our town. It was as red as the mists, rugged and oozing. I tried to wash it, but gave up. It was way too painful. When I went outside there were monsters. But they fled from me as if I was a bear amongst humans. If I met any humans now, I think as I walk through the neverending night. Would they run from me too?
