Sorry for the double post, except it really isn't, but I found the cause for why I was banned.
I posed a link to a forum (Veritaserum - Harry Potter fansite), and it didn't like it. I removed the link when I posted the thread as Jarvis, and it accepted it. Not sure why that happened, I promise Veritaserum doesn't advertise wand viagra or anything. =P

Pshh. Any of you play Sims 3 Late Night? I hate the celebrity star system. EVERYONE is a celebrity. My whole family are five -star celebrities with no effort whatsoever. -_-

On TS1 superstar I could never make sims get stars. It was frustrating.

Well on TS3 you can be a celebrity just by being friends with other celebrities. Basically, back on my first generation, I had the Sim I was playing marry this famous, five-star director celebrity called Matthew Hamming, and she got three stars from marrying him. But she already had two stars to begin with, which she'd earned just by chatting to some other celebrities. So she was a five-star celebrity with no actual talent, just be being friends with others.
And celebrity offspring automatically get three stars when they turn into children... and when I get those children to become friends with the rest of their family, like their famous uncle or cousin etc, they end up being five-star celebrities just because they're friends with their family. It's just so annoying, EVERYONE is a celebrity. O.o
I mean, you do get a load of cool discounts on things... but you also get paparazzi literally everywhere, and my Sims are constantly getting publicly disgraced, which is totally doing nothing for their self-esteem.
