It still has time.  And who knows, maybe they're the type of person who holds on to their eggs until the last minute, then ER hatches them.  I did that with my Seasonal Eggs last night.  Waited until they got down to 3 days, then stuck them in my usual ERs.  They're all hatchlings now and I don't need to worry about them again until Saturday :3  lol

But I'll keep an eye on it and if it gets below 3 days and I don't see any improvement, I'll ER it.


WOW.  I was just refreshing the Abandoned Page, and look at this.

Normally it's the Green eggs that are overwhelming the page, but today it's the White eggs :o  If I had room I'd grab a few myself for breeding purposes with my Silvers, but I don't have room, so I can't xD

Cool!  I have it in my sig over on DBC, too and have asked WitchieBunny to try and advertise it too with people she knows who have Scrolls and the like.  I also been advertising it in my LJ posts over on the hatchery and dragonspam 2.

SimsForums Goodwill Scroll

Hello, DC Players!

As you all know Anna and I run a Goodwill Scroll for members of SimsFourms.  Basically, the Goodwill Scroll is a Scroll that was made because we feel bad for abandoned eggs/hatchlings.  Groups of 4 eggs are adopted every time the previous 4 mature into adults.

What we do is change the password to the Scroll, then give it to you.  You log in to the site using the user name (Goodwill) and password (whatever we change it to).  You then go to the Abandoned Page, and pick 2 eggs of your choice.

Only eggs on the abandoned page, which means when you log in you'll be on the Main Page, also referred to as the Cave Entrance, to get to the Abandoned Page, you'll need to look for the link that says "taking one" and click that. As shown below:

If the eggs you see have ?'s on them then you are NOT on the Abandoned Page.  If the eggs you see are colored and have various times left under them (7 Days usually) then you are on the right page.  Just pick two eggs, simply by clicking on them.  If it says the egg you want cannot be found, that's okay, it means someone else adopted it before you could, just go back, refresh and try again.

Once you have two (2) eggs picked out, go to the top of the page and hit Log Out.  Anna and I will take it from there!  And don't worry, when you're adopting, we'll be talking to you via AIM or MSN, or even YIM for me if that's what you have.  So if you get confused or lost, we can help walk you through it :3

***  Here's where you come in!  Don't want to make a Scroll of your own, have one already, or just want to contribute to a good cause by helping Anna and Myself by adopting?  Then sign up now to be in line for the next adoption!  Names will be added to the list via the order they are received.  Simply send a PM to either Anna or Myself, or by replying to this thread, and we'll keep track of when it's Your turn to help out!

The rules are as follows:
2 Eggs Per Person
Abandoned Page ONLY
Access will be Granted by either Anna or Myself
You may not adopt twice in a row - you must wait at least 1 period between signing up for adoptions

Once the eggs have been added to the scroll, they become Anna and My responsibility, simply meaning that we'll make sure they stay healthy, fogging them when they get sick, un-fogging them when they become healthy again, submitting to an ER if needed, etc.  However, we will be glad to provide you with the BBC code if you wish to include them in your siggy/siggies for advertising :3

Can't even put them in an ER yet
Why is it that when you are scroll locked there are suddenly loads of eggs that you want in the cave or the abandoned area

I know what you mean.  Plus, the 3.5 day rule isn't in effect anymore like it used to be.  You could almost always count on the eggs hatching/growing up almost as soon as they were under 3 days 12 hours, but now ... due to the new eggs the timing is off.  I also found out that Geodes and Frills are still pretty new dragons themselves.  Both were introduced on February 9th of this year.
