the tomato plants are just lovely in that picture.
they maybe a bit less graphicised than the ones in the background, but at least they're not 2-D anymore!
and as cassie said, the tomatoes are reflecting light! that is a huge imporvement!

{cursing} but I want perfect! Everything must be perfect! just kidding.. but it rlly troubles me.. coz sometimes if I play the game (Sims 2) and I'm bored watching the sim doing something for example reading a cooking book and I just start watching items and trees and such.. and it starts to trouble me.. if everything looks pretty and voila an ugly tree is there.. and why can't they fix the leafs.. those are just horrible.. and the lighting is cool I must agree
But I just want improvement ^^ but one can't have everything Aye =)

I agree with you Adam. They might not be 'breathtakingly' real, but they are a huge improvement to TS2's tomato plants. Does anyone have a picture of the tomato plants we have now, to compare? I googled but couldn't find any. But possibly someone has a picture in their storytelling folder?

it's not mine, i just found it while googleing. the plant in the back is a tomato plant.. i think, which leads me to believe all of them are tomato plants...

See! Look how there is no shine or anything on the tomatoes!
Also, if you click here, you can see up-close (I know it isn't a tomato plant, but I'm speaking in general now) how worse the leafs are and the lack of detail in the apples.

Yea, I was pretty horrified at the plant graphics in TS2. Especially the fruits/veggies from gardening. Most of them looked like spherical blobs.
TS3 holds a whole new world of imaginy fruit to be admired {woot}

I agree about the living room picture, it looks AMAZING! But I don't think the graphics will look anything like that in the game. But we can hope.

i hope they do. because if they can make it look that good in a picture it BETTER look like that in my game.
