That brings back some interesting memories.
I was originally a lefty until my 1st grade teacher told me that lefties weren't as successful in life as righties. Basically I was to forced to write with my right hand but switched back to my left a few years ago. Now I'm ambidextrous. 8)
Anyway, if lefties were included that would so awesome.

that's so mean of that teacher, basically saying be a righty or you are no good. That's just wrong. I totally love lefties for thier differences! Well now you can use both hands so you are even cooler lol!

Well, unfortunately, anything that makes you stand out these days is frowned upon. My friends and I call the "no child left behind" program the "no child surges ahead" program. They dumb the smart kids down rather than smarten the not-so-smart kids up. SO stupid.
Anyway, left handed people tend to be more artistically gifted and such. They also tend to be rather smart. Granted, that's a generalization, but still. So it's stupid to force them to switch just because it's not deemed normal in someone's eyes.

Yeah, she was a pretty backwards teacher who was probably in her 70's at the time.
