Me, I hate hollywood. I don't want them to go away, but they shouldn't get as much money and attention. If it wasn't for them, and musiciams (mainly in rap and R&B), teenagers wouldn't be growing so fast--having babies at young ages, doing it, and crime, gangbanging, and other stuff. In general, they set bad examples for people and people follow them.
People didn't start having babies before marriage before actors did. Every time one gets pregnant, it is so "cute" to the media, and everyone else does it. Now no one gets married anymore.
Morals are wasting away because of them.
Good rappers are rappers who actually talk about things instead of money,girls, cars, and etc
I like N.E.R.D and Lupe Fiasco but that is all, I'm not so fond of rap either, I goto school everyday with a different kind of music, like Kor or Rock and Roll and some kids put it in rascist terms like "Oh Ching Chong music" or "Why do you listen to 'white people' music" I find that ignorant...It's not only Caucasion there are African Americans who do R&R and other Countries also.
I find it very mean....So just because I listen to different music I'm supposedly weird....
Your neighborhood sounds similar to mine....can't wait to move....
Also Disney stars do seem spoiled, Miley Cirus is one one of them, I hate her with a passion ^^

Yes, both t.v. shows and songs are all VERY similar these days. I hate it.

I know, everything is about that stuff, Bambi. I do not really watch nothing besides Mad TV, South Park and shows like that, and Pokemon. I watch a lot of television online. That's the only way to see good shows. Then the ones that are family these days are cancelled and stuff.
That's why i watch CSI or Kyle XY(<<good show).

I just don't like how people put race into groups of music....
Asian has to be classical; like some kind of oprah, supposedly they can't rap or dance...
Caucasian always has to be rock and roll or pop; they can't dance
Black is ALWAYS hip hop and r&b; they are never making rock and roll
I've seen alot of White/Asian who can dance...trust me...Also Eminem can rap, there are other talented caucasian rappers...
I've seen African American man who sung Japanese (Hurrah for being different) And See them sing Rock and Roll and Pop.
Society is messed up these days....it's like stereotyping.....
I wish I can make people see how there are alot of people they don't know at all who does something totally different....

I agree with the thing about stars being 'perfect' and skinny, not good for the average girls' self-esteem. What annoys me is that when these kind of girls are at school on TV, they always are eating fatty chips and burgers and that gets me mad because to stay in my shape I can never eat burgers or chips (though to be honest I don't like either of them but still).

True, it is bad for a girl's self-esteem when the perfect picture is always the main star and stuff. I had problems with that and I am not even fat.
Then speaking of stereotyping and race, on shows, blacks are always thugged out or stupid, whites can have any personality, asians are dorks, mexicans are all bad and gangsta. Then when do you ever see a show where the main character or family is asian, black, mexican, indian, or other?
I cannot even eat till I am full to keep in shape.
