Chapter 7: A blast from the Past


Brandi was happy with her life. Why did they have to ruin it now?
She ran to the door, to prevent the intruder from coming in. All Brandi had to do was yell at them, and lock her door. That's it. She began to feel like a fool. It was probably just a threat. Brandi, where are you?
Brandi:  I'm outside raking. Can you check on Charlie?
Cam: Sure.

Brandi saw the man out of the corner of her eye. There he was, Bill Kim.

Brandi: WHY ARE YOU HERE?
Bill: I came to see the kids! I haven't seen them in ages! Even though they aren't mine, Brandi, don't you think I would have gotten attached to them anyways? I wanna see the new baby!
Brandi: You will not see my kids afterwhat you did to me! I can't believe you have the nerve to visit me after what you did!

Bill: Brandi, I didn't mean to! You know I'm not that evil!
Brandi: How can you not mean to! You did a horrible horrible thing. I trusted you after Skip died. I wasn't stable, and you we're the one I loved! YOU! When you proposed to me, I felt fully healed. I thought you were a sweet man, and I let you watch my kids and live with me. THEN, on the day of truth, and love, I was so happy. We were getting married! And you dashed away before I put the ring on your finger! You ruined me. Now I have a new man , and I won't let you ruin that! I didn't care that you weren't rich or even has more that $15 to your name! I still loved you, but I guess you didn't feel the same.
Bill: Brandi, you don't understand! I'm going to see the kids, I miss them!

Brandi: GET OUT OF MY HOUSE! BEAU ISNT EVEN HERE!!!
Bill: Oww! Don't hit me!
Brandi: Get out, now!

Bill: Stop yelling at me, you don't even know why I left.
Brandi: *sigh* Why, Bill, why??
Bill: It's because I was nevous, and wasn't ready. I knew you deserved better than me. I was a kid who had no money and I relied on a sweet, loving widow for money. I loved you which is why I wanted more for you. I got a taxi and left to buy myself an apartment, get a job, and save up, and return to you, a richer and more decisive man.

Brandi: Bill.. that was... very sweet. I'm sorry for being so mean to you, but I have someone else now, and, I just want you to go. before you confuse me anymore...
Bill: Can I at least have a hug, for old times sake?

Cam enters

Cam: Who is this guy? I thought.. I thought you loved me!
Brandi: I do! I do!! I'm sorry, it's not like it seems!
Cam: I shoulda suspected your past was full of {censored}!
Bill: This is your new man, Brandi? Charming.
Cam: Shut up! I'mm gonna make you wish you never walked in!

*Beau walks in*
Beau: Holy cow! GO CAM! GO CAM! GO CAM!

Bill: Just your luck, loser. And FYI, Brandi didn't want me to come. I cme. I was engaged to Brandi a while back, but I left her at the alter to ge ta better life for her. I came back, and at first she was mad, but then, I explained and she was happier. I was just giving her a goo-bye hug. Later.
*Bill leaves*


Brandi: I'm sorrry....
Cam: Don't worry about it.

Brandi was glad she had found such a kind man, now all she has to do is put her past behind her, and focuse on the future.

Cam knew Brandi was sweet and caring, but she really needed to fully clean up her act before they could get serious.
And.. what would happen when the did get serious? Would she leave him? Like the man, because she might want to fix someting in her life??

Bill is selfish!!!

I mean, who would love somebody for their money, leave them at the alter, take their money, and return to them years later.  That is plain selfish and mean.

I am glad things turned out fine between Cam and Brandi still.
