The aim of that video was for advertisement purposes only...It won't happen, and it's not likely it would happen in TS3 either.
What I don't get though is, if they put time putting all these interactions into the game [hang from blinds, swing from ceiling fan etc..] Why not just keep them in the game, instead of putting them in for the trailers purpose?
I do see what you are saying by looking out the window, the neighbourhood outside does slightly resemble TS3...aswell as the moon
The trailer is too real, I think the game would be much more exciting if it was like that, but it's just too real.

I'm sorry but you kind of have some attitude problems. I've read a lot of your posts and I'm always thinking 'what the heck?' but I don't say anything to keep the peace. Anyway, I understand they were just trying to get the point across that a new generation was coming, but I still think it was TOO misleading. They should have linked it with the Sims 2 somehow, it's a completely different game. It does resemble TS3 though, probably more lifelike than even TS3 will be, but much more like the third generation than the second. I love the video anyway, just not how misleading it is.

Yeah, I agree Cassie, the other trailers were a LOT more like what TS2 is all about.
I think since it was the first trailer...they wanted it to be a WOW factor, so people would stay interestd. But yeah...misleading.

Everyone always says that I seem so "mean" online. I don't know why, I don't mean to be, I'm just honest. No one offline has ever called me mean, ever.
And I'm not the type of person that believes in "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". How boring would life be?
And I wasn't making fun of her by saying she asks young, she does, in my opinion. Just being honest. {unsure}

Being truthful is fine, but if someone who you did not know told you that you look like a nine-year-old on your picture, would you not feel slightly offended? There are other incidents in the past that made me lash out of you, and I apologise but, like yourself, I wanted to be honest, and so I was.
You probably are really nice in real life but reading context online is different than speaking in real-life, because you don't have a tone, so try using a smiley or something to convey that you don't mean it in a bad way.
