we're comparing them because naruto doesn't deserve 103839291944329290120 episodes about ninjas, whereas ouran only has 26 episodes with the cutest stories ever.

It's the writer who decides how long it is, typically.
If they only want 26 episodes, then so be it. You can't blame an Anime/Manga for that. And besides, I think Naruto does deserve 103839291944329290120 episodes - It's my FAVORITE Anime/Manga.
I'm sure Ouran is awesome too, the plot sounds cute. But "they have a cuter cast" is soooo not a valid reason for an Anime/Manga to stick around ...

I don't know if I do or don't like Ouran :3
As I stated, I never heard of it before. The plot sounds cute, and I think I probably would enjoy it.
But, as I also stated, Naruto is my favorite. I just think it's unfair to say one thing is better than another simply because "the cast is cuter" when you have to realize the casts are in completely different situations entirely and aren't related in any way.
The Naruto manga was first published in 1999 in the 43rd issue of Japan's Weekly ShÅnen Jump magazine. So it's been out almost 10 years, naturally it's going to have a LOT more episodes/books than Ouran, which has only been running since August 5, 2003.
Plus, the plot to the storyline is a LOT more detailed and complicated. Which, again as stated earlier, in order to get it, you need to watch the series in full from the beginning :3

I havn't watched any of the episode's yet, but from what I've gathered, Ouran is pretty good (:
