I've always wanted:
bunkbeds
bigger computer desks, like a double one or something
more staircase options, like spiral
holidays maybe
the kids to be off school in summer
For the sims to STOP bringing home friends from work
more playground equipment (I really like the basketball hoop and soccerfield in seasons)
bookshelves built into the wall

OMG, some of the things you guys Want in Sims 3 is so crazy funny! LOL And my family thinks I'm a little obsessed with the game!
I would love to see alot of the things that you guys mentioned, but I would also love to see Apartment Buildings where you could have more than one family living in the same enviornment (but that you could also train them to stay in/go back to their own rented apartments).
I want to see the moms/dads be able to have a carriage for their babies to take them to the neighbor's house, or parks. Holding hands and walking. Definately more clothes for the babies. I want ceiling fans, and ceilings. Sims one had alot of cool objects but I didn't care for the small look of everything.
Cars you could see driving to other destinations, not just disappear.
Going to the kid's school to meet with teachers.
I saw the few preview they have for Sims 3. Are they really going to be able to talk? Wonder how you could get them to say what they do then?
I hope they still have the same Pregnant look....that is my favorite with Sims 2. I love the pregnancies. They are so beautiful. I just don't like the actual delivery...right where they stand? Anywhere? They need to change that. I would love more realistic.
We need a Mature Rating Version for us Adults. Hey, they have games out there now that kids have to be a certain age to buy. Why not the Sims?

magz_222 I really like what you suggested. Teens getting pregnant (with adult sims?!), choosing maternity wear is a must as well!
And it could be quite fun to fight the burglar as well! Then if you got hurt you could use the first aid kit.

I think that no matter what they should have spiral staircases. If they do not have spiral staircases, it will make the baby sim cry.
And you do NOT want to make the baby sim cry.
Some of these ideas are good. In case anyone was wondering, they aren't going to let you follow your sim to work. They already mentioned that doing that would be boring. But instead you can have them do certain things while at work like stay later or suck up to a boss. I might have read that you can follow them to work if it isn't a 'rabbit hole' type location. But I could be wrong. But for now, no following to work. But hey, if I can make some decisions for them, that's a vast improvement.

If a teen should get pregnant it could be another teen, or an adult....but might cause a bit of unease in the sims fan community.... I was just thinking of a storyline base.... which this situation could lead to all kinds of scenarios...
If some sims fans objected to this they could make a button to allow or disallow it .... everyone would be happy then.... just a thought
a lot of fans are saying they like realism and would like more in the game.......well this would be one step to realism dont you think?....
anyway it is just my opinion and one of the things I would like in the game.....but I really dont think that will happen

nice to meet you all by the way maybe you could be a landlord or landlady and rent apartments/houses out to sims....and collect their rents LOL!!!.... might be a good business venture......or a bad one!!! lol!!!.....
depending on how good or bad your simmie tenants were!!!.....think my mind is working overtime but its lots of fun LOL@ LOTS of fun.....there is a joke there somewhere.....think about it....a lame joke but nevertheless a joke...might make you smile or frown hee! hee!....the joke was an accident actually didnt see it until after I had written it .... lol!

another idea i have is like bunkbeds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
