I saw it three years ago, so this may not be a great synopsis XD
The main character (we'll call him Peter, because I dont remember his name) and his sister basically get thrown into Pleasantville and it's this old, black and white, 50's world. Mom cooks every meal, kids go to school, Malt shop, ect. Well, Peter and Jane (that's what we'll call her XD) bring the 21 centry to Pleasantville and star...corrupting it. Their 50's mom sleeps with the Malt shop owner (I think) and the malt shop owner paints a pic of the mom naked on a wall (that cause a big riot), Jane sleeps with some guy(s?), which didnt happen back then, ect. You get it?

OK, in wikipedia it says that they are called David and Jennifer...
and there are also George, Betty, Mary Sue, Bud and Skip...
