Haven't heard of it, really.
I am guessing it's just someone who watches your scroll and makes sure your eggs/hatchlings don't die while you're away. Depends on who you ask, too.
If you're worried about being able to trust them, I could always do it for you, too.

There might be.
I cannot get on either. I have not found anything yet to verify what's going on. They might be doing some more work to the site in regaurds to the previous lag issue they had. Just be patient.
Rhianna - I advertise my eggs on another community on LiveJournal that is dedicated to nothing but clickable pets. Phoebe joined it as well. It's called the_hatchery. I posted a link to it in an earlier post, just go look for it, I explain how it works a little there.
