Okay, this is what I can remember. You get SO MUCH CHOICE! Seriously, in TS2 it was so dull and strict using the CAS. This time it's so vibrant, all the things you can do, so diverse. The skin tone pallet has three different neutral tones [like normal real-life tones], which you can use the slider on to alter. THEN you got abnormal colours, pink, green and blue, all that have their own sliders of course. It's fun to tamper with all these. You really can get the perfect skin tone, whatever you want you can get it, I tried on various types of Sims [like I tried making a Spanish Sim, and Asian Sim, a very pale Sim etc].

Moving on from skin tones, their eyes! They are stunning! They blink and shine and look amazing in CAS. You can get any colour using the colour palette in any intensity. Seriously customisation in CAS is prevalent.

I thought the hairs were lacking. For all ages and both genders, they're pretty cruddy. You'll see what I mean. But it's fun experimenting with the roots/highlights/tips stuff. Some colours clash together and don't blend and look really fake. I had to mess with it a lot to make it look good. It's still fun to use though.

The toddlers have cute clothes!
The child boys only have ONE full outfit! Well on the leak, anyway. The rest of the outfits have to be put together by top and bottoms.

I think using CASt is fairly easy on hair and eyes and makeup [the makeup is fantabulous for mascara and eyeliner, the eyeshadow and lipsticks and blushes were pretty poor though], but using it on clothes gets a little confusing. The patterns you can use are okay... the fabrics are all too 80's style for me. But you can make your Sim wear a wood skirt if you really want them to. It truly is a blast experimenting with everything. But I wouldn't personally want to make my Sim wear a wood skirt in the actual neighbourhood. Tongue

Traits are AMAZING! Each one you select makes your Sim do a little action which is funny to watch. And traits really affect the game, particularly socially. Every single trait brings a least one special social interaction it seems. I tried at least half the trais and I got special interactions for each. Charismatic has a ton.

You can do things like 'enthuse about new house', or 'get to know', or 'compliment appearance' or 'ask if single' or 'tell dramatic story' etc. The list of social interactions is insane. We'll never get bored. Smiley
I love how it tells you what a Sim is to you and what they think about you. I made two sisters and they talked, and it shows up as 'Sister' and something like 'Lilya thinks Jessica is being amusing' and things of that nature. I got others such as 'annoying, funny and boring'.

Weight and muscle slider is the thing I got most amused by. It completely changes a Sims' face when you change their weight, and clothes look really different. You can make them really fat! I don't think you can make Sims THAT skinny. I see skinnier people. But you can definitely make them very, very thin. The two sisters I made, I made one obese and one skinny, it was funny. Tongue

Genes; just wow. I tried the 'Play with Genes' option in CAS, it's the same thing that was 'Make a baby' in TS2. Okay, genes are so much more prominent now, and look SO much better on their children than before. In TS2 they all looked fugly [usually], now that can actually look pretty. It's a good job really, when you think that all your neighbours and townies will be reproducing and you don't want a completely ugly neighbourhood LOL.

I can't really tell you much more than that, and I guess you know most of it. I'm trying to think of some gameplay aspects I tried out.

In the bookstore, there is a book called 'Where is Bella?', which I found amusing. I visited the Bachelor house where Bella lives, yet to see the Goth house, I'll save that for June. I didn't want to spoil too much.

I'll leave you to your own devices and let you discover tings yourself, 'tis the best way. Smiley
