I've had this game for months and I still fail. I've resided to using the premade ones, as much as I hate them. When I'm building I always have to give them the ugly flat roof because I can't figure the other ones out.

Wow, it has been a year!  I'm so sorry you guys, I got caught up in TS3 I forgot about TS2 and this legacy, but I'm gonna make a new one just like this.

Wasn't fair to yall to quit in the beginning of it, so I just installed TS2 and stuff and I'll be working on a new legacy.

Here's a major update.  Pay attention! Lol, let me know what you think.  I've tried my best to make everything look exactly like it at the beginning of the legacy...

Look, we're back!  It's John, Sophia, Drew, Jackie, Jake, Maria, and Luke!

Uh-oh, looks like the storm didn't like everyone taking a picture in the rain.  Lightening struck the tree!

Well, it's 1911, so that means that the part of town the McGramn's reside was named "The District of Pleasantview."  Schools, jobs, and neighbors have come with the turn of the decade.  The mayor was nice enough to declare the McGramn house as historical and the McGramn family as the "Second Family."

And with school comes homework, it doesnt look like Drew likes it one bit!

Jackie brought home a friend today!  I guess this Pleasantview couldn't be too bad...

Drew gets a snack after telling Jackie and Jake to finish their homework...

John looks into getting a job so he can make money to support his family with these so called "bills" the government's came up with.

Looks like he's got the job.  John's now in the military!  Whenever he gets a bonus he's going to upgrade the house to present day standards.

Sophia uses the phone next and it looks like she doesn't like Jackie's friend's mother bragging about their family's wealth.

So to keep her busy, she prepares dinner.  What will it be tonight Sophia!?

Salmon it is!  Good choice!  The family loves it!  They talk about their day overall while Maria and Luke sleep.

That bragging is still bugging her.  People have such nerve!  She washes the dishes to get her mind off of it.

Sophia and Drew talk about updating the house.  They got a letter saying they have about five months to make it "liveable," according to state standards.  "Since when did they have all these rules and bills!?" - Sophia  "It's called the government honey." - John

The next day John wakes up early for work...

Month's pass, Sophia's starting to get used to John not being there when she wakes up.

Only one more month till the deadline!  John has gotten a promotion and that much-needed bonus!

The school year is over!  Final report card's have come out!

Years pass and the updating is finally complete!

The year is now 1920.  A whole decade has passed....John is still working in the military, Sophia is still a housewife, Drew is about to start college at Sim State University (he graduated with honors and earned MANY scholarships), Jackie and Jake are now Freshman at Pleasantview High and the youngest, Maria and Luke, are starting their sixith grade year at Pleasantview Middle.

So what do yall think?  Do yall like it?  I know I skipped a while in time, but I think it went pretty good.

Oh and since Drew is about to start college, we're going to follow him there.  What do yall think of that?

PS...I'm going to probably convert this over to The Sims 3 after he graduates from Sim State University.  Would yall like that?

Me too!  Since I'm making Drew the heir to the legacy my plan is to convert it and have him move out on his own and create John, Sophia, Jackie, Jake, Maria, and Luke and have them live in a different house.

And a main reason for this is because of the whole "The neighborhood is alive!" fact.  Time will go on, but we will only follow Drew, but we'll be able to see some pic's and stories from everyone else in the McGramn family.  Such as reunions and gatherings, etc.

I'm excited just thinking about it!!  {lol}

Drew is finally in college.  He is majoring in Psychology, it's amazing how the mind works!  He calls his mother, Sophia, as soon as he gets settled.  His roomie should be arriving any minute now...

Remember Lexi? She's Drew's high-school sweetheart!  They convinced the Dean to let them roomie together on campus and he agreed given the results of their high school transcripts and records.

Years pass, there's been word going around of some prankster just running in people's houses and dorms unannounced.  It's be really stormy these past years too!
