Re: The Peterson Story - yummybunny - 25-01-2009 05:22 PM Dang it! I want it sooooo BAD!!! But I am restraining myself. That would really help!!!! Lead to lots of possibilities! And I am a storyteller! I didn't get the EPs at first, because I thought it would make the sims too whiny, but I missed out on a lot when I bought a load of them. I wanna get it NOW. This time, with TS3, I am getting each and every EP, unless it's a supernatural creature-only one or a magic themed one...I like reality only in my games. I missed out on a lot, but I got my play out of it for five years, I had all the EPs, but 3 (OFB, Bon Voyage, and AL), my cousin lost my university and nightlife, so I'm playing the other ones. Although I'm not completely done with TS2, I think I can have more story telling possibilities with the sequel...there was still a lot I couldn't do with TS2. Re: The Peterson Story - Majick - 25-01-2009 05:26 PM One thing that is SO cool about AL ... Like I said, multiple families on one lot. They're ALWAYS hanging around in the courtyard area to talk to, and one detail I think is the coolest ... if you have a child or multiple children living on the lot, the school bus still shows up to pick them up AND drop them off!!! The adults walk to work, except your sim, the carpool comes for them. But, the kids can all ride the bus together!!! Re: The Peterson Story - yummybunny - 25-01-2009 05:31 PM That is so cool! I almost got it, but all I could find was it bundled up with Freetime. I'm just now finding it by itself, and I live in a big city. But The Sims isn't big...just found at Wal-Mart and Gamestop. I should had got it anyways... ![]() Like I could had told the story of four families or so...it would had been awesome. Re: The Peterson Story - Majick - 25-01-2009 07:24 PM That's why I'm not getting TS3 yet, because of things like that. To me, there is still so much I can do! Re: The Peterson Story - yummybunny - 25-01-2009 07:46 PM Yeah, there is a lot I can still do, but I need more events. I really am not good at making events for my stories. Usually, I sit around and try to make a story, and if I'm out of ideas, I'd fast forward, until I catch something kind of interesting or cute. And to tell the truth, I am way more into storytelling and doing things with them more than taking care of them. That is really awesome about AL though. Like I could had told the story of..for example: Jim and Bethany--the couple that want a baby, but can't because Jim can't have babies, so Beth cheats with a guy that looks like him and gets pregnant. Oscar and Joyce--the old couple with the problem grandchild. Lucy--the successful businesswoman who turns down romance and focuses on his career and so on....it would make gameplay more interesting and good thing is that you don't have to switch lots. Re: The Peterson Story - Majick - 25-01-2009 07:54 PM I agree. Having a story does make the game a lot more fun. Even though the Summerstone family itself doesn't have a Story behind it, I play one in my head so that it doesn't get boring to me ![]() And then of course, there is Gabrielle's life. Re: The Peterson Story - yummybunny - 25-01-2009 08:01 PM Yeah, in my opinion, a legacy gets boring. I just got tired of making just legacies, and decided to make a story. I think that I just may make stories for now on. Legacies are nothing but showing off the family, getting pregnant, and showing the big events in life, stories can tell a lot more, and you really get to know the characters. But that's really good you have both...they both are really good, but you can switch off and on. Then with a story, you can't even wait to see what happens later on. You'd get hung on too. Re: The Peterson Story - Rena - 26-01-2009 04:23 AM I love this legacy ... SO MUCH! I read through it all yesterday in one go, and yeah. I want more! I feel sorry for the twins, because they were seperated and all. Also, can I PM you an idea I have for the legacy? Mwahaha! Re: The Peterson Story - phoebe91 - 31-01-2009 03:45 AM Hey everyone! I'm really sorry that I didn't even update. I didn't even have time to get on the computer (even with a snow day x.x)! I am like uber busy and I still have school work to do. And now I'm sick! I haven't gotten sick in over a year lol. Buuut, I owe you all an update! And I'm glad everyone is enjoying it! --- ![]() When I got back, I saw Carlos talking to Madison! He made me angry. After all of these years, he chose now of all times to come back! âWhat are you doing here!?â I yelled at him. âIâm just telling Madison that her mother isnât all that she is,â Carlos told me as he showed himself out. But this made me worried. After he left, Madison did come up to me, âMommy, are you lying to me?â âNo, of course not, Madison. Why would I do that?â I told her calmly. I just didnât need this right now. ![]() After that incident, Mason and Madison communicated more. But I just let them because they didnât know that they were twins. ![]() But Madison was back on the hunt trying to find her hobby. The ants were cute, but it didnât satisfy her. ![]() But one night, she went outside to jump rope and loved it! She found her hobby: Fitness. Just like her father. ![]() As the months past, I kept getting bigger. Cris couldnât wait! Every time he saw me bigger than I was, heâd just come right over and talked to my belly. ![]() I also found my dream career track: Criminal. I was so tired of being a slacker, I wanted to get somewhere. So I knew that after I had this baby, Iâd go right back to work. ![]() Madison kept working out daily. Before sheâll know it, sheâll be thin as a stick! ![]() But having only one bathroom was starting to become a pain. I knew that we couldnât survive like this. ![]() But then I met a very nice wolf. But he ran off right after I greeted him. Re: The Peterson Story - yummybunny - 31-01-2009 03:56 AM Madison is the cutest! And I love her hair-do...she has the cutest face shape! That's good that Carlos came back, but I think that she is a bit too young to be turned against her mother like that, like explain it in like terms a kid can comprehend, like say, "You have a twin brother that stays with me." or something like that, instead of turning her against her mom, without her mom being able to say anything. I'm glad they are communicating though...Mason looks the most like his father, in my opinion..facial-shape wise. |
