that would be very cool!
also, what if before there is a wedding, instead of shopping, an automatic window pops out and then you choose what dress/suit your sim wants to wear for the wedding
also what kind of dress code you want your sim guests to come in...

They have decided in the game that you can choose what your sims guest wear and where you can have it. So you could 'book' a beach out for the night or the park. It does cost some simolens though.

I think you can only tell the guests to come in formal gear not actually pick what they wear.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that this picture shows the party planner and it has a drop down menu so you can pick what dress code you want the guests to wear.

Well they obviously can't put actual chapels in, but it would work if they allowed parties to be planned for community lots.. that way you could just make your own chapel.
Any word if that's possible or not?

you can rent a park for example and build a chapel maybe
i know you can add items but im not sure about buildings

Maybe more of a Sims 3: Parties. It can be a lot of events, like graduation parties, promotion parties. Weddings seems pretty specific.
