OMFG.
I just got back like ten minutes ago [when I finish this post it will be like 45 mins ago no doubt] and raced upstairs to talk about it. XD
It was PACKED full in the cinema, and it was frigging 9am. And kids are still in school here [they break up today & Friday]. Although there were a few kids there I might say... OMG THERE WAS TWO WOMEN AND THEY BOTH HAD WANDS AND I WAS LIKE OMFG CAN I HAVE A PICTURE WITH YOU? Er yes anyway...
The film is absolutely without a flicker of doubt the most hilarious thing EVER. The whole cinema was in pieces with laughter, seriously. It's almost primarily a comedy film more than anything else. And every joke is a hit. Not one fell flat.
I can't even begin to trace over everything just yet. I'll list a few points I can remember for now, but my mind its like, racing.
Oh, and even the people I went with, who are Twilight-obsessives, said that Twilight SUCKS after this film. Seriously. That's coming from people who fawn over the books like crazy. So, yeah. I'm sorry but this film is definitely the best of the year. It was AMAZING. AMAZING!!!!!!!
Okay, here we go;
1) Dumbledore's death isn't as sad as I anticipated it to be. It's actually kind of comedic, when he falls, it goes in slow motion and it did get a few laughs as opposed to sobs or anything. The sadder scene is when Harry is like, crying next to Dumbledore who is dead on the floor, and Ginny cradles him, and the whole school who are watching raise their wands in respect for him. It made me cry, but that's because I'm an emotional freak. I don't think that many people cried in the cinema, but it was dark so I couldn't see. There was a person in our row who was crying, though, so I wasn't alone.
2) The Ginny and Harry scenes are rather awkward. Harry is such a stiff kisser. When she feeds him the pie and ties his shoelaces, it's sweet, but it looks a bit cheesy. I think the more interesting romance in the film was R/Hr, and everyone who I was with agreed. There are so CUTE.
When Ron was in the boys' dormitory with Harry, he was asking what Ginny sees in Dean and then what Dean sees in Ginny, and Harry mentions she's attractive, and Ron's confused what he means by this, and Harry mentions she has 'nice skin' [very funny]. And Ron says in a sort of dazed, dream-like way, 'Hermione has nice skin', and everyone was like 'awwww'.
3) Aragog's funeral is so funny. Aragog is disgusting. Harry's 'don't forget the pincers' speech is the best. He does a little pincer action with his fingers.
4) Lavender... wow, Jessie Cave is a brilliant actress. She's so repulsive and girly and annoying. She breathes on the carriage window and writes in a love heart 'R + L' and a few kisses, and the way she does it.. just ugh. She starts climbing on his back and everything. When they brake up, Lavender is seen looking incredibly angry the enxt day in the great hall, she's sat at the table like digging her fork into the wood. I wish they had shown ore of Ron's increasing frustration with her though.
5) I like the bromance with Ron and Harry in this film. They're good pals. You'll get the vibe when you watch it. I LOVED when they fighted over who gets the clean copy of the potions book [as opposed to the other, which is the HBP's copy and is tattered and worn, of course they don't know how handy it is at that point], they just stare at them, look at each other and then suddenly start scrambling over it.
6) When Ron was saying Hermione's name in his sleep, he did sound like he was having an orgasm.
7) The start with the waitress flirting with Harry does not fit Harry's character at all. I hated it.
8) When Ron eats the chocolates and falls in love with Romilda, they go and visit Slughorn, and Ron sits on the rim of the sofa and falls off. I laughed so hard.
9) When Dumbledore leaves Slughorn's with the women's magazine, bwhahahaha. Hilarious.
10) When the inferi appear it is the most shocking thing ever.
11) I'd read this in a script, but it was great seeing it played out on screen. Slughorn spills some beer on the trio's table and on Hermione in The Leaky Cauldron, and he's like, 'All hands on deck Granger.' I dunno why, just the way it plays out is awesome. It got a lot of laughs. Seriously, the whole movie owns comedy.
And then, Ginny and Dean snogging in the corner, Ron looks disgusted and asks to leave, and Hermione's says something along the lines of 'If Ginny saw you snogging me, you wouldn't expect her to get up and leave, would you?' Ron's puzzled face after that is epic. Also, Hermione chugs down her butterbeer quickly and aggressively and ends up with this froth mustache, which Ron points out and Hermione gives him this adorable look. And as they leave, Hermione is acting a little drunk, and puts her arms round Harry and Ron.
12) Bellatrix is the DEVIL. When they attack the Weasley's burrow and Harry chases her through the feels and she chants and taunts him, omg I could slap that b!tch, hahaha. She's great. I also hate the actress they cast as Narcissa. Narcissa's hair is not randomly brown on one half, and she's prettier and younger than the woman that plays her [no offence to the woman, lol].
13) Dumbledore to Harry; 'You need to shave, Harry'. LMAO.
There's so many things to list but I'll do it later. I'm seeing it again tonight so hopefully I can pick out more things.
BEST FILM EVER. EVER. EVER. Nobody wanted to get up when it finished.

That was the funniest, sadest and most brillant movie so far!!
My cinema was packed aswell and every one was laughing so hard at everything. I absolutley love that bit when harry says 'don't forget the pincers' halarious.
OMG I'm freaking out... at the end of the movie everyone was clapping it was AMAZING like Cassie said.
I nearly cried when Dumbledore died. I never cry in a movie and I have never come so close to tears but I always hold it in. :'(
The inferni are freaking scary. I was sooo scared.
The camera shots are georgeous.
I need to pee so badly!! I held it in the whole movie and I saw people getting up and I was like "how can you miss this? sit back down!!"
WOW. I am in awe of the movie. You all NEED to see it even if you aren't a Harry Potter fan.

I have a few pictures of me at the cinema sporting my celebratory clothes, and me posing with a woman dressed as a witch, who rocked. My friend has them so when she gets online I'll try snag them and post. :]

BEWARE. Bambi shall be posting a huge review soon. I was planning to but you know how me & Bambi are like with responding to each other in great doses of length epicness. LOL. Well, considering this is a thread dedicated to the film, I expect people are cautious of spoilers in here. XD
HBP broke a world-record as the all time highest grossing film on it's first day. Eeep! How many more records is it going to make? XD
Saw it again today. Not going to see it all weekend now.
Btw, HAD to post this, I caught it on a video I was watching from the premiere.
