Re: A Sims Story - yummybunny - 04-01-2009 02:21 PM

Well, I was gonna update, but I'm scared now. {blink}

All day Photobucket was acting stupid, getting stuck on 50%, and I was too lazy to upload the pics 1 by 1, until late last night, so there will be one today, as soon as I wake up a little more.

And Nelson isn't stupid.  He'll run.  One thing Misty didn't have to pass on was common sense.  Her and her kids would get the heck out of there...no trying to be the hero for them.

Nelson's POV!

Well, that night after that totally unfair contest, my gourmet fruit, cherry jello losing to some crap, vomit-looking oatmeal got to me.  I decided to get on the books and study more.  I have always wanted to be a gourmet chef, having my own business, and being in Beverly Hills, making some good cash off my tasty creations.  I was on my way, and me losing was just a pitfall that I had to crawl out of.  There were always gonna be pitfalls in the way of my dreams, so I had to climb out of them.  I had my dream all planned out.  I was going to go to culinary school after high school, which wasn't going to be a reality, because Ma said she didn't have no money to pay for college.  She also said I wasn't gonna make it anyways.  Michael told me he'll pay, but he told me I have to do the work...get good grades and apply to colleges.  I have applied to 20 colleges, and got rejected for all of them.  Maybe Ma was right, I'm not made for college.

Malcolm was lucky to have two parents.  Ma gave him spunk, and he was a big a-hole.  He'd gotten that trait from Ma..not caring what other people think of you.  Then Michael gave Malcolm his loyalty, smarts, and intelligence.  Malcolm and Michael spent a lot of time together.  They were always playing chess or doing something else together.  Michael wasn't talking bull when he said that he wanted a son.  I wished that I had a father, but skip that mofo.  I mean, the man didn't want nothing to do with me, why even want him?  He probably would had made me crazier anyways.  I would rather have one crazy parent than two.  Speaking of parenting, I heard Lydia had a baby boy.  I think it's mine, but her mom is saying that it isn't mine, and she's always chasing me, threatening to hurt me.  I think the baby is, but hey, I can't help how things are.  I just said whatever and wish them the best, especially that child, whoever is the father.  If that child is mine, Lydia's mother wouldn't even get in my way, I don't want my child suffering, being without a father.  If the child wasn't mine, but didn't have a male role model, I would still be the father.  But I don't feel like Lydia's mom.

Michael had changed over the years.  He's almost the big 50, and he's starting to show it.  He's less active and ma keeps yelling at him about things that should stay in their bedroom.  For example, Viagra.  It's really funny when they talk about that stuff.  Like at the dinner table last night, it was DRAMA.

Michael:  Misty, why haven't you cooked dinner in almost a month.  Like your kids shouldn't always have to cook dinner.
Misty:  Because I am not satisfied.
Nelson:  Oh no.
Rainy:  (cover's Malcolm's ears)  ***We all knew what Ma meant about dissatisfaction***
Michael:  I give you plenty of spending money and I am faithful and am a good husband and father.  What do you want?
Misty:  (I really have to bleep out what Ma said...it's too horrible for the kiddie's ears, and it may get this post deleted from the forums.  But let's say Rainy and I didn't have a nice movie playing in our heads while Ma was talking.)
Michael:  Kids!  Get out of here!  For God's sake, Misty, do you ever once consider your kids!
Misty:  They're grown, and Nelson has been with a girl in that way before, like he hasn't seen nothing.
Michael:  This is the conversation ender...that stuff is unnatural and it does stuff to your heart and stuff...so no, and deal with it.
Misty:  I am almost 40, you old man.  I don't have to suffer cause of you.  I'll find a younger man.
Michael:  Go ahead, it's all you're made for anyways.  I'm done touching your used up body.

I really loved Ma and Michael at times.  I wouldn't trade my family for anything.

Well, Ma had to go to work that morning, and the fight was still on.

Misty:  Well, goodbye.  I'm off to work, hope I don't find a younger man.
Michael:  Whatever, just stay off Ronald McDonald.
Misty:  Ronald is a really good lover, Michael.  Don't get jealous of the clown, cuz he's macking your woman.

I was ROFL after that.  Well, I wanted Ma to go to the Cookoff place with me, but she had to work, so Rainy was only coming.  Malcolm was so disappointed last time, that he didn't want to come.

"I can eat oatmeal and sandwiches at home." he stated.

Well, at the cooking contest, I had the most horrible time.  This crazy dude was there, dressed like he was straight out the Matrix was in the contest.  Rainy and I wanted to stand by each other, but he took Rainy's spot.  Then he had to look at my sister.

Man:  What's your name?
Rainy:  Rainy.  Why?
Man:  You are looking really pretty.  How old are you?
Rainy:  Fifteen, which is too young for you, so back off!
Man:  You have a funky attitude, don't you.  I like that.
Rainy:  Nelson!  I said back off!
Nelson:  What are you talking about?
Rainy:  Oops, not you, Nelson.  This freaking dude who looks like you won't leave me alone.
Man:  Babe, I just want those digits.
Rainy:  Do you have any kids around here you should be taking care of, instead of trying to woo teenagers?

Nelson:  You heard my sis, leave her alone.
Man:  Relax, your sis is really pretty.
Nelson:  If you want a skank, you should really go to my mom.  She's looking for a nasty man.  Leave my sis alone.
Man:  And who is this nice mom of yours?
Nelson:  Her name is Misty Carson...
Man:  Misty?  Never mind.  She has a rep.

And who are you?
Man:  A man of many identities.  You don't want a man of many identities.
Rainy:    Sure don't.
Nelson:  Would you leave my sister alone, you child molestor!  She don't want you!
Man:  Fine.
Nelson:  I really can't stand you!

Well, we wasn't paying attention to the contest, and Rainy got the winning badge off of a sudden.

Rainy:  OMG!!!  I won!
Man:  Nice job, babes.

I had lost again.  I'd felt like I'd been hit with a brick wall.  I wanted to give up on cooking.  I was no good, and was always gonna be.  Ma was right...I was only good for having children and working at the easiest job.

Rainy:  Try again, Nelson.
Nelson:  Skip this.  I give up.
Rainy:  For me.  Just give it one more shot, please?
Nelson:  For you.  And just who is that weirdo?  I couldn't stand him!
Rainy:  Me either.  He sure knows mom.
Nelson:  Who don't.  She's more used up than....a...I don't know who is.
Rainy:  Who knows...can be your dad.  You two looked just alike.
Nelson:  Naw.

Oh yes.  Something is deffinately cooking all right.

Re: A Sims Story - yummybunny - 04-01-2009 11:39 PM

I got that Misty and Michael situation from this experience I had when I was like 13.

Me, my brother, and my ex-stepbrother was in a room, playing, when we heard my dad and his ex-wife yelling at each other.  His ex-wife had a horrible temper and such a potty mouth.  But this sounded horrible, so we checked it out.  Their bedroom door was wide open, and she was yelling at my dad, " We don't even make love anymore!"  she screamed.  And all this stuff that should had stayed between them...in the end, she moved all her stuff out the house, her sisters was yelling at my dad.  Then the next day, she apologized and moved back in.  We had to help her move that crap back in too.

I was scared...I was talking to my cousin, because it was a lot of tension, then he told his mom, and my mom found out.  She was happy that they were suffering in their marriage.  I was too, because I hated my stepmom...she treated me horrible.

Today, I think of that as funny.  Talking about screwed up people...I am around it, but it never happens in my house.  Usually people whose house I come over or whom come to my house.

But what would life be without those loony experiences...no ideas, no interesting movies, nothing.

EDIT:  Anyways, I'm updating again after I finish fixing chicken.

Re: A Sims Story - yummybunny - 05-01-2009 02:01 AM

Now back into the mind of Misty for a bit

____________________________________________________________________________________________

So I finally came home from McCrappers.  And what was the first thing I'd saw?  The trash all knocked out the trash can.  Nice greeting for someone who has been working all day.  Worthless family.  I'd spent a total of probably a little over 100 hours of labor, got stretch marks, a belly that won't never be perfectly shaped again, and an aching back for nothing.  What a rip off!

"What the hell is this?!"  I screamed soon after I came in the house.  My house already smelled like dog due to stupid Mimi and Chad having puppies, now when did this turn into a freaking animal shelter?  And for weird dogs?!

"What are you talking about?"  Malcolm asked.

"Why is this weird mutt in the house?"  I screamed.  "It can have rabies or anything!"

"That's my new friend!"  Malcolm claimed.  "He always comes into the house every night.  I feed him and play with him..."

I freaking gave up.  I was about to die...these kids were gonna be the end of me.  Then Michael wasn't making things any better with his old self.

Chad didn't like the strange dog either...all over his woman.  Chad didn't want him taking Mimi from him.  Kick that dog's butt, Chad!  Chad backed off...I didn't blame him.  That dog looked like he could kill Chad.  There was no fear in the eyes of that strange dog.

I was so tired of stupid, smelly dogs.  Poopy, Stinky, and Mutt grew up.  Looking like their father.  I went ahead and gotten them fixed...no puppies for them.

Well, the good thing is that Rainy cooked a wonderful dinner.  Michael was too pissy to eat with us.  He still didn't want to see my face.  That was cool, because I didn't feel like a wife to him.  I was just a body to produce children with.

Rainy: How is it between you and Michael?
Misty:  I don't care.  Skip that drone.  So, how was your test, Nelson?  Did you flunk it?
Nelson:  I got a D.  I don't understand.  I studied so hard for it.
Misty:  It figures.
Rainy:  I won a cooking contest, Mom!
Misty:  That's good!  You're gonna be a Chef, making me fancy foods for free someday!
Nelson:  That's my thing, mom!  Rainy just got lucky!
Misty:  Find another dream, Nelson.  Cooking isn't your thing.

Malcolm:  All you do is insult Nelson, mom.  That's why I don't never share anything with you.
Misty:  Good.  Your father is interested.
Nelson:  As a man, Malcolm, you have to take a woman's insults.  It prepares you for marriage.
Malcolm:  No woman can ***** as much as mom.

I slapped Malcolm in the face.  "Go to your room!"  I screamed.  That boy needs to learn to respect me...talking about me any kind of way in front of my face.

Well, that night, Malcolm came to me to apologize.  "I'm sorry, mommy, but you are so mean sometimes."  he said.  "It really drives people crazy.  How will your kids do anything positive if all you do is be negative towards them?"

"First of all, you aren't my father.  I can raise you how I want to."  I responded.  I really hated being lectured by my own son, especially a kid.  Then I noticed Malcolm was getting really chubby.  I never paid attention to Malcolm, so it's the first time I recognized this.  "Well, for a change, let me encourage you to do something positive."  I said.  "Lose some weight."

Malcolm is going to run to Michael and tell him what I said, and Michael and I were at it all night.

Well, I had one last chance to raise a child.  I hope this one comes out right.  Please Amber!

I'd spent lots of time with Amber.  She was my little girl, my angel.  The jewel of my life.  And she didn't want to learn.  She already got a lazy trait...well, I needed to start early and pull that out of her.  I don't want her to be stupid like Nelson...piece of crap of a son...good for nothing.
