I've been hearing about legacies...I never thought to start one, until I joined here. They seem so much more fun, when you are showing them to people.

I did one once, but as usual ... once I hit generation 6 something happened and I was forced to uninstall/reinstall >_<
I have the first few generations on my Sims2.com simpage. If you're curious, it's the Wolfe Legacy.
I was having so much fun with that legacy, too
