hi, i just can't wait for the site opening in a few hours!!!
but i would like to come on this topic...for once i wich that Mac 'n Pc sims players could have the Sims 3 released at the same time !
I think that be bigger event!
i'm a MAc user and so talk on the behalf of all the Sims players on mac...please do some thing i think it' s unfair...
if any administrator or anybody wants to react, it' s happening here!

I think it is unfair as well. And I think everybody should get it at the same time.

If you have the latest OS (Leopard) you can just install Windows on a partition o your hardrive using Bootcamp. It's incredibly simple to use and that's how i play my sims on my imac. I already hd most of eps and stuff packs so selling hem and rebuying mac versions when i got my imac wasn't that great of an option so I used the Bootcamp method. plus i can play guild wars and Tomb Raider too lol

so you can play any Pc sims version on you mac ?

yep. i followed the instructions with bootcamp and installed my copy of windows xp from my old pc and now i play my sims on my pc side. When you start up ur mac press option/alt and it will allow you to choose mac or windows. choose widows and it loads up as a windows computer. then u can play or use any windows application you want.

and does it run properly..; is it slow...did you notice any diffrence, i mean any thing that disturbs your playing time?

It runs way better than it ever ran on my pc! lol. the only problem i have is that one my graphics card's drivers isn't supported so while the graphics are all beautiful the tv and computer screen appear black instead of with animations. but thats to do with my graphics card instead of my operating system.

I'm a mac user as well and I acutally have both version on my computer. I use Bootcamp to boot into windows just to play sims, so I am hoping that Sims 3 will come out on Mac as well at the same time so I can dump windows from my computer.
