Well, the way I see it is that if you aren't playing matchmaker than you're not in charge of the Sims. They're doing want they want.

Plus, the reason you're able to play Spin-the-Bottle on their first date is because you chose to do so. (I know that's not what you said but I'm just using Spin-the-Bottle as an example.)

I like the idea that I'm able to decide what I want my Sims to do. I know what you're getting at on the "First Kiss" though.
