So far through both word and screenshots, science labs, hospitals, town halls(political career?), restaurants, grocery stores, clothing stores, have all been shown or confirmed. All of these places appear to offer sims both services and places of employment. I was wondering what other buildings you guys think should appear and what other jobs should go along with them? Also I'm thinking that while all of these types of places can be customized and edited 100%, they will likely work like dorms in University, where you must use a template.

That is a possibility. I hope we can make some changes.
Although the team have improved their building skills since Sims 2 first came on the market.
