How can I download the latest patch for The Sims? Since I have the original The Sims and I can't find any download patches for it. I don't have The Sims Deluxe edition I have the first original one.

I went to this website and clicked update your game but it only have an update for The Sims Deluxe not the original The Sims. I did try to install the one for the deluxe but it didn't work.

Hmm... that is odd that they don't have any patches for just The Sims.

Well since I found out that I need the latest patch to use the cheat codes like "motherlode" etc.

You have The Sims? In The Sims, you can't use motherlode. Motherlode is for The Sims 2.
For money, since you have the unpatched version, use klapaucius for 1000 simeloans.

Well on a website it said you can use motherlode on the patched version of The Sims. So that's why I wanted to download the patch so I can use it.
This site says you can use motherlode if I have the patch.

I've never heard of Motherlode being used in The Sims regardless of if it is patched or not.

I'm sorry, but I don't know where you can get that at. Try calling EA Tech Support.
