The Sims 3 Clothing - skitskatscott15 - 14-01-2009 08:51 PM

I decided to watch the Create-a-style trailer for TS3, and I noticed how much better the clothing will be in the game! I hated having premade outfits that couldn't be changed to our liking, and I'm really happy about shoes! xD . And since we get to customize the color, they no longer have to make 5 different colors of one mesh, they'll just make more meshes instead of recolors of the same mesh. Which in the end, means more styles of clothing!  Smile

I was thinking about this a couple of months ago. How if they don't have to make everything different colours by themselves, it just leaves room for more styles of clothing. I'm still disappointed that you can't layer different articles of clothing, though.

Yay!

can't wait for the custom content!
Clothing, hairstyle and furniture! No matter what, I will make it for my liking! {woot}

I saw a CAS pic where there was a girl wearing a green 2 coloured blouse and a black top over it with colourful heart markings that, alone, had 4 colours!

maybe we will be able to combine them and they forgot to mention this teeny detail? {rolleyes}

When I saw the CAS video, like they had all those sims, and like let's say, there are 20 tops for each age group.  In the vids, we could never tell if someone had on the same kind of top as someone else.  All of the clothing looks like different clothing--completely different clothing.

het tops have different patterns. okay, unless they're premade.

Ah, yeah.

I just read that we can apply designs to any part of the clothing, so you can have an outfit that has 6 different designs on it.

I love that Creator's Camp.  I wasn't invited, but reading their blogs makes me feel like I'm almost there.

My series' characters will be styled to the nines because of these features... I love EA.

I wonder can we make our own designs though.  I never heard of that, like is their a painting tool, like MS paint, where we can make a design?

that would be amazing if we could make our own design.  I haven't heard anything about it though, but if that were being kept a surprise for us to discover...that would be the best surprise ever!!!

That's not layering, that's just two specific designs for two items in one top. If that makes sense...  {unsure}
