I have been playing sims 2 forever and have installed expansion packs before, but today I bought the Ikea home stuff collection and it is not working at all! I put in the original disk so I can get started, but everytime it brings up a box that says "Please insert the correct cd/disk: Ikea Home Stuff." Sims 2 deluxe works when I don't have the ikea package, but not with it. I installed ikea in a different location and everything, but no dice. Anyone have any answerws???? thanks!!!!!!

yes I tried it with the Ikea disk too but it didn't work with either disk...it's like the ikea disk sabotaged my ability to play sims in any capacity...help!!!

yes I reinstalled it along with my sims 2 deluxe and my other expansions and it still didn't work. I have tried everything.

Does your system meet the requirements?
Do you have the latest drivers?
Do you have the latest patch?

Did you try ALL the disks? Did you select the correct icon? If you have Pets EP or above, you need to use the EP disk with the EP icon. If you don't, you need to use Ikea disk and icon. BUT if you have mansion and garden, you need to use the disk and icon no matter what.
