But what's confusing is that Kaylynn is a child in TS3, but she is an adult in TS2, and Morty is old.  And in TS2, she is not even aged, she is like an adult at 0 days.

That pretty nice that interview. It shows a bit about the families.

And so what? Bella is also an adult at 0 days. I bet kaylynns a cute kid.

Who is Kylynn?
I feel so noobish lol

The attractive maid in TS2.

The one that the Pleasant dude (the father) had an affair with.

But it doesn't add up, since they are all the same age in TS3.  Even if Morty was an older child, it wouldn't make sense.  But usually, not all things add up though in sequels.  (This is a prequel, but it is also a sequel)

My point is that they aren't the same age in TS2.

Well, I suppose it's wrong, since this game is fifty years before ts2. If it was like that, kaylynn would be 58 or something in the sims 2. But I don't think it matters. Actual neighbourhood isn't back in the 80's, the people are younger. the 80's didn't have flashy sports cars, or modern clothing like that.

THey might've played around with lifestages though. It never made sense to me how you were a child for 8 days, and a teen for 15. In real-life, you get around the same time for each.

True, if they started Kaylynn off as a toddler, then she would only be a few days behind Morty, assuming if the life stage length was the same or similar to TS2.

I wonder if there would be pregnant sims carrying around people we know, like Don's parents and stuff?  Just gotta see.  Who knows, they may come as family downloads on TS3 website or in an EP.

Well, I bet people will remake them if they're not/they don't.

Well, think about it this way.

In the Sims 2, the age for Adult is 25 to 59.  In the Sims 3,Kylynn could be 7 days (7 years)  and Morty could be 10 days (10 years)    50 years later in the Sims2, Morty would be over the breaking point for elder, and Kylynn would still be Adult.  Then the game designers would make each Sim at the start of their Age.

That explain it?

If it's all a prequel, another thing I don't get is that the Tragic Clown was alive in TS1 and now in TS3 he's dead.  Tongue
