Just a little note to let the creators know we need realistic ages! At least include a preteen age group. The transition from five-year-old to 17-year-old doesn't make sense.
This is what I had in mind:
-Baby
-Toddler
-Child
-Preteen
-Teen
-Young adult
-Adult
-Middle-aged
-Elder

I agree with those age groups.
I think if they are included that the Sims 3 will be more popular among people:
who are having doubts with it,
and it would be more realistic.

Yep, I agree the above age groups are much more realistic and is just what TS3 needs. Although it says in the articles stuff about offspring, I have failed to see any children or teens in any of the magazine scans, maybe they are saving those pics for later?

Possibly, or they just haven't finished developing them yet. I think they would probably first finish adults, and then base everyone else around them.

Seriously? That would be fantastic!
I remember when I was just starting Sims2, I was always really annoyed that there was no 'preteen' age... being a pre-teen myself (age... like, 11 or something?).
Now, of course, I'm a full-fledged teen (15 next month), but I would still like the pre-teen sims... After all, my brother is a pre-teen! It would be AWESOME to sim him and totally torture him
The pre-teen thing combined with the 'asian-ness' thing will be perfect to make my brother... He is a very cute little asian dude.

Yes we need better asian-simming tools. I am successful at making Chinese sims but not Japanese sims because Japanese people have their eyes curl up. :-\
