Premade neighborhoods missing? - gt1924 - 28-03-2009 03:54 PM
My hard drive crashed and I had to install a new one. After I did and reinstalled the Sims 2 on my computer, all of the premade neighborhoods are missing. I also notice that some of the collections are missing. Besides that everything seems to be working good. What I am wondering is if there is some way to tell what is wrong without uninstalling and reinstalling all of the disks, because I have a lot of them.

Are the neighborhood files in the right place in your documents?

There is a tutorial at MTS2 that shows how to delete and reset your hoods, it might help.

The link worked great. All of my neighborhood folders were empty, so I deleted them and copy and pasted new ones and it seems to work fine now. Thanks for the help, it was bad enough to lose all of my work on the game when I had my hard drive fail, I didn't want to make new neighborhoods too!
