ub3rn00b needs help! :P - ub3rn00b - 07-11-2010 06:01 AM So, recently I've decided to play The Sims 3. I decided to update it before I played it. Once the patch was done downloading and installed, I ran the game and this is what I found: http://i55.tinypic.com/sm7pxh.jpg I posted my problem on The Sim 3 forum and one person suggested that I update my driver. I updated my driver with the latest driver. I restarted my computer and then ran the game and I got the same results. I remembered I played this game numerous times on my computer. Even with the settings on high, the frame rate was pretty smooth (about 60 if I can remember), but now the graphics are all stretched and distorted and I don't know what is the cause of this. My comp's specs: Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Processor: Intel® Core i7 CPU 860 @ 2.80GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.8GHz Memory: 8192MB RAM HDD: 1TB DirectX Version: DirectX 11 Video Card: Radeon HD 4650 I tried restarting the game on several occassions and still get the same results. |
