I wonder if...
Anyone else have the problem of how when they first got The Sims 2, and installed EP's, that it slowed down their computer a lot.
I ask this because I would like to know if I need to update some things on my computer to ensure that the Sims 3 will run a-okay.

If this problem does not concern you or your computer, I would like to know some specifications for your computer and brand name.

Thanks!

Re: I wonder if...
A reason might be virtual memory. Thats one of the reasons for me. Or if you have CC. Honestly, I have around 10,000 in my CC folder so I get complete slowness &.&

But you shouldnt worry about what to do with TS3 since you have almost a year (or perhaps 2 - for sure, not before 09) to think about it and prepare Big Grin

And we wont know if the Sims 3 has the same requirements as the Sims 2. So its hard to replace certain parts of your pc if you dont know what you have to fix ;D

Re: I wonder if...
Thanks for the reply, my computer is a bit old, still windows XP media center edition, but its a 2002, however it was not cheap, so I am still debating weather or not to just get another computer or make some upgrades on this one...

I have been building my own computers for years. in the long run it is not cheaper to upgrade. Smile

Re: I wonder if...
I am asuming that we will require an upgrade to run the sims3, my PC is so old I need to get a new tower anyway, but I will wait till sims3 is released before I upgrade.

Hope for the best :-\ expect the worst :'( and, take what comes :Smile

***********************************

If you appreciate the post give a Hooray.....
I always do.....
