So you think the Sims 3 will flop, do you?

This game will be GREAT!
For the past few months I started doubting it, but then I came back to the Sims 3 sections, and I was stunned. There are new Sims fans every day from YouTube, since a lot of people post Sims 2 "music videos". I actually found out about Sims that way.

No way it's going to flop. First of all, the Sims games are bestsellers. Huge bestsellers. Probably the only game around the world that almost everybody likes, no matter the s3x or the age: it's good family fun, and you can play countless times and be sure every time is different. The Sims name is already established in the whole world, so any kind of promotion is not necessary.
Besides, people had the same fear when TS2 came out; I remember it clearly! People were sure it was going to flop, why buy another game when you have one that is so great especially considering the ammount of money you spent on it (EPs,etc)? But then reviews came out, and people noticed that the huge improvements were worth. Guess what? It became immediatly a bestseller, and it was nr.1 in a few days. Now it has sold more copies than its precedent.
TS3 looks highly promising. So I can guess that it will be the exact same thing. This is going to be huge.

Oh, that's one thing I forgot to mention! (i just forgot to write it) The way it's fun for almost anybody to play. lets face it, spore wouldn't really appeal to everyone.

but yes, I entirely agree Sara, so that's why I say phooey to the people syaing it will flop.

Spore looks gross to me O_o Sims could even be fun for 'tough' boys. They could make the macho guy they think they are.
