Getting ready for work and hoping that it rains all day!

Got home very late last night as the train I was on was stuck up the line thanks to someone on another train being beaten up followed by a mini-riot happening at another station along the lines. When we finally got off, there were police everywhere - you'd have thought Ahmed had been around starting another revolution! Tongue

It's getting pretty scary as anywhere connected to the ferry routes or airports are getting besieged with idiots coming from across the globe all heading for various football games that will decide their league's title this weekend. Most of them are drunk no matter what the time of day and a total nuisance, and if their team loses there's every likelihood they'll take it out on some passer-by in some train station.

I went to Auckland to pick my mum up from the airport. On the way home we stopped at a South Auckland Pak n Save. That was interesting...
