There was a TV show on last night in which they counted down the nation's favourite number one singles. Bohemian Rhapsody came first, of course. It's the song with something for everyone!

Yeah, saw that show - Adele the third most popular? Five years from now & everyone will be saying "who?"

Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy", Oasis' "Don't Look Back In Anger", Abba's "The Winner Takes It All" & "Dancing Queen", Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water", Louis Armstrong's "What A Wonderful World", the Beatles "Hey Jude" & Procul Harem's "Whiter Shade Of Pale", yeah to all them, but there were a lot of ones that made no sense.

They even had Rod Stewart's "Maggie May" - the nation's favourite No.1 musak for cheap pubs & supermarkets - but you'd have thought if they were going to include him it would have been "Sailing", which sold by the bucketload. No "Mull Of Kintyre" either.

At least the right song won - who says you can't bring opera to the masses? Biggrin
