I loved that quote from that Nintendo rep at the time the US government was first considering legislation putting ratings on computer games & health & safety warnings, & they dismissed the scare-mongering by saying if Pac-Man affected kids, teenages today would all be munching magic pills and listening to repetitive
electronic music - just as Acid, Ecstacy, Rave and House were taking over youth culture. Brilliant timing!
