Forgot to mention, passed that exam (no thanks to their stupid computer that decided to skip ahead a few questions & say I'd decided to skip them coz their internet connection was a pile of turd!), and am trying to steel myself up to try updating with the new Sims patch.

I expect the patch to be just as clunky as your exam computer's crappy internet connection. Their patches are like.... like... dial-up!

Ugh! My Sims 3 game is at a crawl. After updating Twallan's mods, I'm going to have to do the inevitable now, & start throwing out CC I'm never using to speed it up. I'd sooner gut the cupboards, attic & drawers in the house - it would be a lot quicker & less stressful!

Kinda given up looking around for stuff on the US Presidential election - looks like Obama's got it in the bag & they all know it: the GOP's Vice Presidential candidate issued a panicked tweet telling every Republican to get out & start knocking doors because the early polls showed an avalanche of known Democrat voters already having come out so it's not looking good for them already in any of the

Apparantly we'll all know when Obama has definitely won it when Fox News starts diverting their live show to updating news reports on how the race for the House of Representatives is going, as the Republicans are guaranteed to win that unless they have a total disaster.
